LONDON: Reaper of Souls, the highly-anticipated Jamaican novel set at the time of the Kendal rail disaster pulled into London on Wednesday, October 3 at 6:00 pm in a reception hosted by the Jamaican High Commission. Great House OmniMedia is an idea whose time has come: highly-motivated, multilayered professionals working in all media disciplines for a common cause—effectively getting a message out to the right people at the right time with the right result. We saw the name Great House as the approach to our work: strong and stable, with many rooms full of creative activity.
For us, then, the OmniMedia Concept is simple. Anything with a story is media, and everything that sells an idea or product with a great story is what we do.
Great House began life as a publishing house, (now a trademark of Great House OmniMedia Ltd.) in Kingston, Jamaica in 2005. The first publication was the novel Daylight Come which arrived in 2006. We’re proud of our Jamaican roots, and plan to release at least one title every year, committed to the highest standards of Caribbean Arts in our pursuits.
